Blame Minnesota conservatives for electing greedy conservative pigs to Congress, right wingers who want to enrich themselves out of the taxpayer’s pockets.

Remember all that fuss about pork in government spending — you know, the stuff the right complains all the time about the left doing?  Remember all that stuff about smaller, better government?  Remember all that nonsense about how the government should not pick winners and losers?

If you hear one more word, EVER, from the GOP or the crackpot Tea Partiers about responsible government, smaller government, less pork, or the deficit, or the government picking winners or losers — remind them of this, and what epic hypocrites and liars they are for saying that, but passing H.R 2642.  H.R. 2642 is wasteful, it adds dramatically to the national debt, and it puts money directly into their pockets.  This legislation serves special interests – including exclusively some of those same Republican members of Congress.

There was an attempt, by a democrat, to bar members of Congress from taking these subsidies.  It was rejected and defeated by the Republicans.
